I started in the industry at an early age with a knowledgeable horticultural neighbour taking me under his wing and nurturing a love of horticulture and plants that continued to grow. Supportive parents let me landscape areas of their garden including ponds, waterfalls and pergolas and a self-built propagation house was well used. After completing my secondary education I completed an MIT Horticulture Certificate and my business began doing “odd jobs” for family and friends. Seventeen years later I now manage and direct a successful company of 11 and growing. I have teamed up with the best business mentor around and continue to strive to achieve the satisfaction from making other peoples goals and dreams become reality!
I have four children so my spare time is spent with the day to day events that go with a family, which I very much enjoy! I am keen on sports and coach my son's soccer team as well as play squash and tennis. And I have got a weak spot – I can't turn down a good day's fishing!
I have worked in the Landscaping industry since 1998, gaining my National Certificate in Horticulture Level 4. Over the years I have worked for a number of landscaping companies gaining a wide range of experience and expertise, which I am now able to utilise and pass on to the other members of our team. In my spare time I coach my son's soccer team and love to fish.
I have worked in the landscape construction industry since 1998, starting out as a labourer and building my skill-set from there. Born and raised in sunny England I studied landscape design at University College Falmouth in Cornwall. After graduating and working for myself for a number of years, my fiancé and I moved to New Zealand in 2008. We now love exploring our new home with daughter, Poppy.
